Loveteam :since loveteams seem to be an integral part of the local entertainment scene (often being the selling point of teleseryes and movies), i just want to comment on the matter.
what i consider to be a successful loveteam is a pairing that is able to draw the audience towards their performances (both individually and as a pair) and the characters they are portraying rather than to themselves. meaning, they don’t have to resort to the typical “nagliligawan sila in real life” gimmick to get viewers interested in the projec t they are working on (after all, it’s what they are offering to the public and not themselves 
).
let’s take the case of the kathniel vs. kathquen thing for instance. while the kathryn-daniel pairing is at the moment the more popular one, the kathryn-enrique pairing is likely to become the more successful one in the long run, mainly because enrique and kathryn are equally good performers who can both draw the audience more towards the characters they are portraying (daniel on the other hand, has a lot of catching up to do to match kathryn’s acting skills).
another aspect that makes a successful loveteam is the material that is given to them. if the material is meant only to cash in on the fans of the said LT, then it is going to have a very limited audience (only the fans). but if it aims to give something for the larger audience, then it has a better chance. this one is considered as one of the reasons why the bea-john lloyd pairing is still successful since they are both very flexible in the portrayals they can offerm which makes the larger audience interested in them.
